Texas Geocaching Association Junior Members Now Available

The Texas Geocaching Association Junior Members: I'm proud
to announce the Texas Geocaching Association has created a new membership type
just for you. This membership is known as the junior membership, and it has
been created for junior members that want to be a part of the Texas Geocaching
Association. Junior members enjoy all the swag, that comes from being a member.
They get their very own copy of our coins set for each year they are a member,
they get to maintain their very own ID and post under their own names on the
TXGA website.
The Texas Geocaching Association supports young geo-cachers and geo-cachers of all ages. After recognizing that younger geo-cachers had
been left out, the board unanimously elected to create a new membership for
junior members of the age of 13 and under created. These memberships are now
available in our registration page. If you have questions please contact us, we
will be glad to help in any way that we can.

After
a summer break, we are back to turning the spotlight on some of TXGA’s
Outstanding Members.  If you have read
the news page or follow TXGA on Facebook, you are aware that the Permian Basin
Geocachers received a State Award from TXDOT for their Adopt-a-Highway
Project.  Although it takes many people
to get out there and clean up the roadside, the organizer behind the events is
Travis Gilbert of Midland, Texas.  We
have read interviews with “project coordinator” Travis Gilbert but we wanted to
