We are pleased to announce that Fulcrum Strategic Consulting’s Stakeholder Engagement and Policy Development operations are being integrated into TERA Environmental Consultants.
TERA is a mid-sized, employee-owned firm, headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. For over 28 years, TERA has specialized in providing environmental consulting services for the Canadian powerline, oil and gas, and renewable energy industries and has maintained excellent client relationships within the industry and government. The expert and balanced perspective with which TERA approaches projects is sharply focused on clients’ needs and has resulted in a track record of providing high quality work. This reputation has qualified TERA as the environmental industry’s consultant of choice.
Integrating Fulcrum’s Stakeholder Engagement and Policy Development services into TERA’s operations will provide many benefits to our clients. It will enable us to provide a harmonized approach to stakeholder engagement and environmental assessments. It will also provide us with increased capacity and complimentary services to meet the needs of larger projects while still maintaining Fulcrum’s boutique approach to projects. Finally, TERA’s demonstrated history of working closely with Aboriginal communities across Alberta and BC through their Archaeology and Traditional Land Use departments will strengthen Fulcrum’s historical capacities in conducting Aboriginal engagement programs.
Fulcrum’s team will remain much the same with the exception of Rob McManus and Vicki Ballance, who have each moved on to other ventures. Rob McManus accepted a position as a Board Member at the Alberta Energy Resources Conservation Board in January and Vicki Ballance recently accepted a position with Deloitte as a Manager in their Sustainability and Climate Change Group. We wish them well in their new roles.
