The tough architecture extends to the mounts of the external mirror, door gaps, door lacks, and the roof frame. The vehicle is built from a ground up and that makes it a lot better than just retrofitting an assembled vehicle.The Mercedes-Benz M Class is rated to provide a VR4 kind of protection based on the 2009 Bullet Resistant Vehicles standards. It can shrug off attacks that make use of pistols, .44 Magnum, or the .357 Magnum. It can even withstand explosions of hand grenades like the DM51.The rims and wheels of the Guard were designed thinking of the occupant’s safety as top priority.
