Salpin, Socially Inclusive & Magnificent For Military
With the capability of increasing a bowling centers turnover by over £40,000 that is currently over $68,000, Salpin is being seen as the product to have for the 10pin and 5pin bowling industries. It works just as well of course for candle pin and duck pin bowling too. So just what is this revolutionary product Salpin? .
In simple terms, Salpin is a stand alone system that records the entire bowling game and can either display that game on the local large screen or it can transmit that game, in real time to a remote bowling centre anywhere in the world with Salpin installed, thus allowing players on the opposite side of the planet to play bowling together, seeing one another and talking to one other just as if they were in the same building. They see one another in the seating area, as well as on the lanes and of course they can see perfectly the lanes themselves, the pins and the score boards (they a close up of the pins and score boards).  
One question people often ask is, Does Salpin cut into the software of the scoring system?  The answer is no, it does not. Salpin is a stand alone system which means is does not interfere with any computer or software that is currently in the bowling center. It comes complete with everything needed to operate it and the bowling center only need provide a dedicated internet line for it. Salpin will work perfectly regardless of the scoring systems the different bowing centers use, it is completely independent from that. So there is no possibility of Salpin  causing any problems with the bowling centers other equipment. 
Neither does Salpin interfere with the normal use of the lane. It is simply and unobtrusively installed on the lanes and when it is not being used, which if the staff have their wits about them will be never, the lanes are used as they have always been and the players will not be aware that Salpin is there. 
How does Salpin make the bowling center so much money? There are many ways in which Salpin can increase the businesses turnover, from a small extra charge per bowler to the sale of DVD's of the game. By bringing in people who would not normally play bowling, because they now have the opportunity to play with friends and family elsewhere or because they want to have a DVD of their child's bowling birthday party. Salpin also has coaching uses and more important social uses such as physical contactless parental contact with their children, i.e. a father who now lives x miles away from his children and has to have supervised visits due to his past behaviour can use Salpin to play bowling with his children whilst his ex-partner is there with them but not
