It only lasted 2.5 years.  I wish I save the files before.  I lost many files.  The only good thing coming out of this is I will need a new laptop soon.  The next question is which laptop to get?  I want something light.  Not big.  Sit comfortably on the lap.  Not too hot.  Not too loud.  Not apple. No one would have predicted.  I feel sad and sorry for the people who lost their loved ones.  This could have easily happened to him especially when he travel so often.  That is not the point about this blog.  I just want to express my disappointments over how the handling of the event by the authorities.  From what I read on the news and TV, the Malaysian authorities failed to provide all the information they have that would help to rescue or recover the plane and the people on board.  What’s worse is they provided wrong or contradictory information.  I have a few theories:1) Incompetent leaders  — couldn’t get the accurate information from the military and other parties who may have information regarding the plane.2) Have something to hide — the authorities have something to hide, either something really embarrassing for the world to learn or something unlawful done behind the scene which might be uncovered if more information about the missing plane is revealed to the world.  3) incompetent to handle crisis — the authorities are used to have total control of media.  They choose to release what and when and the media would never question the validity of the information.  They are trying to use the same way to handle this international crisis, they failed miserably.  Having said that, everyone made mistakes.  We learn from our mistakes and make necessary changes  not to repeat them again.  I truly hope the authority could learn from the mistakes.  Please do not sweep this under the carpet so to speak as they normally do.
