Mobile Digital Theater
Kramer Entertainment’s Dome is a Mobile Digital Theater that features highly innovative, educational programs. With the Dome Theater, Kramer “Edu-tainment” brings the excitement of the museum-quality shows, presenting a wide range of educational topics, in a state-of-the-art mobile digital theater system! Developed by Rice University and the Houston Museum of Natural Science and with the support of NASA, the Dome Theater provides students with the latest audio and visual learning technologies. Award winning narrators include Robert Redford, Harrison Ford, Tom Hanks, and Walter Cronkite. The Dome is 16 ft. x 16 ft. wide and reaches 10 ft. tall. It can hold 35-55 individuals depending on age.
Mobile Digital Theater Educational Programs
Educational Programs-  are geared primarily to the pk-8th grade levels and cover a broad range of subjects in a fun and creative manner. The educational programs are based on topics such as:
Social studies
Science
Space
Health
History
Oceanography
Archaeology
Most of these programs are designed to focus on S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). Although these objectives are defined in variation by state or organization, a strong emphasis on S.T.E.M. education both encourages and educates students. These areas of study are important to learn in an interdisciplinary and applied approach. Rather than teach the four disciplines as separate and discrete subjects, S.T.E.M. integrates them into a cohesive learning paradigm based on real-world applications. The Dome Mobile Digital Theater Educational Programs are typically chosen by each teacher. These will correlate with the topics the students are currently learning in the classroom. A different program can be chosen every half hour, or at anytime throughout the event.

Viewing our Mobile Digital Theater entertainment programs inside the Dome Theater allows for a unique immersive experience. The Dome Theater allows you to enjoy more than just surround sound, but viewpoint video projection surround as well.
