PUPPY CLASSESWe are taking applications for the  October 30, 2014--7 PM Puppy Class    BEGINNER CLASSESWe are now taking applications for the October 30,  2014 Beginner Classes 6, 8, and 9pm Classes available The 7pm Beginner class has filled.The Next Puppy Classes?? 30 7:00 pm InfoThe Next Beginner Classes?? 30 6:00, 7:00, 8:00, & 9:00 pm InfoThis Week at FVDTC?? 15 - Membership Meeting?? 16 - Correction Clinic?? 16 - Therapy Dog TestingTDI Test FVDTC will be hosting a TDI Test (Therapy Dog International) on Oct. 16, @ 6:30 p.m. at the Kane County Fairgrounds in St. Charles If you are interested in taking the test or need more information please contact Jan Winters. We are in need of several adult volunteers and 2 children ages 6-12 to help with the test.  A club work credit can be earned by helping with this event on the night of the test. ALL SPOTS ARE CURRENTLY FILLED.  CHECK BACK TO SEE IF THERE ARE ANY CANCELLATIONS.________________________________________________2 Day Obedience TrialThe Premium is now available!For the first time, FVDTC will be hosting TWO days of Obedience/Rally Trials this November 15th and 16th at Kane County Fairgrounds.  Come join us for twice the fun!  Check out the Judges and Classes here.________________________________________________Attention Junior Handlers! Calling all kids--ages 8-18 - who like to train their dogs.   FVDTC has a new class just for you! We get lots of requests for juniors to be the primary handler for taking the family dog through an obedience class. As we pondered these requests we thought about these juniors in a class with a group of adults.  We figured that class would be a lot more fun for them if the entire class was aimed at their age level.   This led to the creation of a Juniors only class, for ages 8-18, where they can participate with students closer to their age group while learning and improving upon Beginner level skills as well as some skills geared towards the CGC evaluation. Our first class begins on October 30 and runs for 8 weeks.  Cost is $95 for non-members and $20 for members.
