The INSTITUTE FOR EUROPEAN ENERGY AND CLIMATE POLICY is a non-for-profit research organisation that brings together some of Europe’s leading interdisciplinary experts on climate change, energy efficiency and renewable energy policy.
Our members are well renowned experts in the fields of climate change, energy efficiency, and renewable energy policy. IEECP carries out detailed studies and top quality research projects in these policy fields.

July 1, 2019                                    The Kick-off Meeting of the new #H2020 PARIS REINFORCE project took place on 10th & 11th of June in Athens, Greece. The EC Horizon 2020 #PARISREINFORCE is a 36 months project coordinated by EPU-NTUA, with the overarching aim to underpin #climate #policymaking with authoritative scientific processes and results, and enhance the science-policy interface, in light of the #ParisAgreement and associated challenges
July 1, 2019                                    Our new EC Horizon 2020 ENSMOV project “Enhancing the Implementation and Monitoring and Verification practices of Energy Saving Policies under Article 7 of the EED” has just started! IEECP Vlasis Oikonomou, Mia Dragovic Matosovic and Jean Sebastian Broc will be leading a group of 15 organisations (energy agencies, policy think tanks and associations of technical companies) towards helping Member States to implement Monitoring and Verification schemes for their energy savings and design appropriate policies to achieve the targets of the Energy Efficiency Directive Article 7 for the coming years. ENSMOV is a follow up of two very succesful and well known projects, IEE ENSPOL and H2020 MULTEE. More information to come soon!
