As of 9/1/2013: 1. The VRU and PRU will become the Capital Geographic Union. The EPRU will become the Eastern Penn Geographic Union. 2. The Geographic Unions will consist of mostly club teams and will perform many of the same administrative functions as today (i.e., discipline, dispute resolution, etc.). 3. At the same time, club competitions will spin off for both the Capital and EPRU GUs into a consolidated club competition: the Mid Atlantic Conference. This is a committee based conference which will draw members (and event funding) from the two GUs. No further updates will be made at this site. After January 2004, a club that has not had an individual attend a USAR CDP would be denied a referee. In lieu of this 2004 requirement (for a new coach-only), the club must have their coach registered at the next MARFU sponsored clinic; if the coach fails to attend the clinic, referees will not be assigned and any referees already as
