The album moved 143,000 copies in its initial week, 130,900 of it in the USA alone. Jason's former number one smash, 'Old Boots, New Dirt', started with 294,000 units in the week 43, 2014. Something more back in time (2013/ 2014) the British indie pop band Bastille landed a big hit with her 'Pompeii'. The magnificent tune was massive 38 weeks on the Global Top 40 with a total of 3,775,000 points. The associated album 'Bad Blood' sold nearly 2 million copies to date worldwide. Now the band's second studio album 'Wild World' is at retail and sold 101,000 copies in its start week, enough for a jump at no.2 on the Album Chart. The flamboyant Australian artist Nick Cave, referred to as rock music's 'Prince of Darkness', is back with his 16th studio album 'Skeleton Tree'. It arrives at no.3 globally with 95,000 sales. Nick's 1996 album 'Murder Ballads' featured 'Where The Wild Roses Grow',a duet with Kylie Minogue, his most commercially successful single to date. Celine Dion's French-speaking set 'Encore Un Soir', chart-leader of the last two weeks, slides at no.5 after another 35% sales decline to 81,000 copies, a total of 516,000 after three weeks on the tally.
