We have beds available starting at only $25 per night, and visitors who are staying with us two or more nights can arrange to have us meet them at the airport as they arrive. Please call a day in advance in order to set up transportation arrangements.  We also specialize in kayaking and snorkel rentals at our Kona and Hilo locations. Come to the Big Island and experience the peace and beauty of a truly special place. 
Kona, Pineapple Park Hostel & Hotel:
Pineapple Park is located in Kealakekua just ten miles south of downtown Kailua-Kona offering some of the most affordable accommodations on the west side of the Big Island. Nearby Kona coffee plantations, the historic Honaunau (Place of Refuge), and the protected underwater paradise at Kealakekua Bay make our hotel and hostel the perfect location for you to explore Hawaii's Kona coastline.(Map)
Hilo, Pineapple Park Hostel & Hotel:
Pineapple Park hostel and hotel offers a cozy and convenient location in Hilo only two miles from Airport and within walking distance of downtown Hilo and it's famed farmer's market. Take a stroll in the shade along Bayan Drive and enjoy a sunset at Lili'uokalani Japanese Gardens, or venture out of town to take in the beautiful landscapes at Rainbow and Akaka Falls, the swirling waters at Boiling Pots, and the vibrant flowers of the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Gardens. Volcano, Pineapple Park Hostel & Hotel:
Our volcano property is close to Kilauea Volcano--the world's most active volcano.  Thirteen miles from Hawaii Volcano National Park, Pineapple Park hostel and hotel is located on a four-acre estate surrounded by young tropical jungle. Volcanoes National Park is the destination of scientists and tourists who come to witness a live volcano and see new land being created. Take a hike to see ancient petroglyphs carved into lava rock, walk across a crater, through a hollow lava tube, watch Goddess Pele let off steam, and much more!(Map)
Work Exchange
Work-exchange opportunities are available at all Pineapple Park properties. Four hours of work per day in exchange for private room w/shared bathroom facilities, a 30 day minimum commitment is required. All interested applicants must email references, resume and contact information to park@aloha.net.
