Hilltop Estates
Sonterra is a 1,400 acre development, adjacent to the City of Jarrell, combining residential and commercial into one master planned community.  There is currently over 3,500 residents in Sonterra alone, 9,300 residents in Jarrell ISD and well over 33,000 within a 10 mile radius of Sonterra.  Sonterra/Jarrell is located in Williamson County (one of the fastest growing counties in the country) and part Austin抯 MSA.  Our local market area pulls traffic from Salado, Georgetown, Florence, Weir and many of the other surrounding communities.  We have over 62,000 cars pass through our community daily. 
Sonterra currently has over 1,300+ LUEs (Living Unit Equivalent) on the ground with the capability of having well over 6,000 when completed.   
In 2013 we added 200 new homes; in 2014 we added 225 new homes; in 2015 we expect to construct over 300 new homes.     
Sonterra recently acquired funding for a 5.0 GPM water line, essentially securing its future water needs for years to come.  The project is set to begin sometime in 2016.     
Sonterra is home to several nationally recognized home builders, including DR Horton, Lennar and LGI, as wells as several national retailers. 
Highlights:
An 11,000 square foot retail center with restaurant, retail store, coin operated laundry
A 20,000 square foot retail center was just completed and ready now.  
A 160 unit apartment complex completed Phase 1, is 98% full, and has broken ground on Phase II. 
Williamson County ESD #5, a 24-hour manned EMS station.
Construction of a new 5 lane bridge at CR313 and I-35, is under construction and should be done 1Q16.

Sonterra Crime Stoppers is a form of a neighborhood watch program that is in Jarrell, TX. The job of the residents is to inform the Sheriff when there is a problem or something in question. This is an active group in the neighborhood that is trying to spread safety awareness to our residents. We have regular meetings and are planning events in the neighborhood. Please join us if you would like to be a member or help with the events.
