Texans WR Lestar Jean impressing in OTAs
An injury forced him to spend his rookie season on injured reserve, but Texans receiver Lestar Jean impressed in training camp last year before the injury.
Once again, there are nothing but glowing reports this offseason about Jean, who has been dubbed "Big Play."
“The kid has really put time in as far as preparing himself,” receivers coach Larry Kirksey said, per Jerome Solomon of the Houston Chronicle. “He has engulfed himself in the offense. He knows all three positions. His attention to detail is excellent.  He’s got a ways to go, but so far we like what we see.”
“He is pretty smooth, a deceiving athlete,” Kirksey said. “He is on the field, and it doesn’t look like he is moving. But then all of a sudden, he is past you.”
One of the ways he's learned the position(s) and offense is by trying to learn as much as possible from Andre Johnson.
“He’s always up on me,” Johnson said. “Asking me this, asking me that. Wondering how I do this, wondering how I do that.”
The Texans drafted two receivers in this year's draft -- Ohio State's DeVier Posey (third round) and Keshawn Martin (fourth round).  But the undrafted free agent from last year is setting himself up to possibly make a bigger impact in the Texans' offense.

Titus Young allowed back at OTAs, apologizes to teammates
After he sucker-punching teammate Louis Delmas last week at the team's organized team activities (OTAs), Lions receiver Titus Young was indefinitely banned from the team's voluntary workouts.
The suspension has been lifted and Young, who was today's OTAs, has issued the following statement (via the team's website):
"My recent actions have not always been up to the standards the Lions expect or the standards that I expect from myself.  I am truly sorry for those times when I didn’t meet those standards. My absence from the practice facility and the OTAs last week was necessary for both myself and the team. The time away from the team afforded me the opportunity to reflect and come to the realization that by putting those incidents behind me I will be able to focus on becoming the best teammate and player that I can be."
As noted this weekend, it has been a rough offseason for the Lions' 2011 draft class as the quintet has been arrested a total of five teams counting Nick Fairley's arrest early Sunday.
In his rookie season, Young, one of the team's two second-round picks in 2011, was fourth on the team in receptions (48) and receiving yards (607) and tied for second in receiving touchdowns (six).

Nick Fairley arrested for DUI and eluding police
MLive.com's Anwar Richardson wrote an artic
