If you're here for the first time you're probably looking for my "world famous" (heh heh) gear calculators.  The links are over to the left, enjoy.Who out there has been visiting this site since the 90's?  Back when I lived in Colorado, back when I was wheeling afull size Chevy Suburban?  Who of you has visited this site year after year and have seen little change?  That is aboutto change, at least for the next month or so.  It's May 2015 and I just bought a 2008 JK salvage title 2-dr for mydaughter's HS graduation gift.  I hope to show you all pictures of what I plan on getting done.  What I'd like to do isput a 6 inch lift with huge axles and lockers.  But, I really want this to be a safe daily driver first, so I'm gonna have to keep the altitudea little closer to the pavement.  I haven't totally decided on a "look" but I'm thinking a flat fender look, steel bumpers,a couple body mods, lighting and audio to name a few things.  So far I like the yellow, but don't be surprised if I changethe color before it's all said and done.  First step, do the body work. As you know I've been driving a '94 Jeep ZJ for years.In 2006 we traded my wifes '03 Yukon XL in on a new smaller '06 Jeep Commander (XK).  It has become thenew jeep daily driver (My daily driver is an '07 Dodge Ram)In 2005 we bought a Maaco Collision Repair and Auto Painting center.  Besides being a small business owner with all the headaches, there is one benefit... I OWN A BODYSHOP!  :-)  So I cut and trimmed the wheel openingsand painted it to match the Commander.  New paint deserved new tires and
wheels, oh and a decent lift too... I chose the Rubicon Express 3.5 inch lift.
However, a bodyshop alone couldn't provide me with jeep accessories for all my mods and plans, so I looked for alternatives. Fortunately, I came across CARiD! Here I was able to find everything needed for my Jeep.
