Welcome
A home from home.
A peaceful, bright and airy single room in our family home, calmly decorated , with space to work and free access to our superfast cable broadband.
A shower room next to to the room is available for your sole use. 
Our house is in a cul-de-sac on the edge of Hertford with off-road parking available. It’s 15 minutes walk from Hertford East Train Station, giving easy access to London via the Liverpool Street line. 
We live in the house with our well behaved (hypoallergenic) Mini Schnauzer & you’ll have access to the main living spaces, including the kitchen.
Free Wifi
We know how important it is to be connected when you’re away. When you stay you’ll be able to link to our super fast cable broadband with unlimited data and up to 100 Mbit download speeds.

The Bedroom
Our single bedroom is off a landing corridor adjacent to its own private shower room, giving a degree of privacy and separation from the rest of the house. The room has a comfortable single bed with duvet and a selection of pillows. As well as the bedding, extra blankets are provided and the room has a ceiling fan for those warmer evenings, along with dimmable lights and a blackout blind at the window.
In the room is a desk & chair, bedside table and a wardrobe with both hanging and drawer space. There is a Freeview TV with DVD player, a bluetooth speaker and an Apple TV with Netflix. There are a selection of DVDs and books. 
Help yourself to tea & coffee. Just outside the bedroom on the landing is a small fridge, Nespresso machine and kettle, with a selection of coffee pods, including decaf. There’s regular tea and Earl Grey too, as well as hot chocolate and fruit infusions. In the kitchen you’ll find another Nespresso machine, a Senseo machine, the same tea options & instant coffee if that’s your preference.

The Shower Room
The shower room is for the sole private use of the single bedroom. It has an invigorating power shower, and there are toiletries available for your use. A selection of towels are provided so there is no need to bring your own.
