These aren't your traditional roadside cabins. Our spacious cabins are one of a kind, handcrafted log homes ideal for that romantic getaway or for a group gathering. We are located in the White Mountains with all of the best attractions nearby.

Log Furniture
We specialize in making beautiful cedar bedroom sets including rustic bed frames, bureaus/dressers, nightstands, mirrors, and lamps. We also make other furniture such as lawn furniture, kitchen tables, bar stools, benches and other custom furniture. All pieces are made of white cedar and is built to last years.

Log Railings and Balconies

Log Home Maintenance
During  our 35 years in the log home industry we have learned how to care for log  homes. We have experienced first hand the steps necessary to protect what is  probably your biggest investment. From preparations, to stain, to caulking, to  repair of problem situations and corn-cob blasting, we’ve done it all. We  provide the service, or just sell the products for the do-it-yourselfer. More About Josselyn's
Josselyn’s Sawmill began as a small shingle mill in the early 1970’s.  After shoring up the old dairy barn, the first shingles were cut and put on the barn.  Later the same building housed a portable Belsaw Sawmill, only to be replaced by a Lane #1 Mill sometime later.  This was moved from the Alden Holmes property on the other side of Jefferson.
The mill has produced up to sixty log home packages per year sawing about one million board feet annually.  The building boom of the 80’s kept the mill hopping.  Over the years the sawmill produced all logs and lumber needed for construction of the Vacation Rental Cabins called “Josselyn’s Getaway”.    The Sawmill was disassembled in the spring of 2012.
Strangers have travelled many a mile to enjoy their ‘Cabin in the Woods’ with babbling brook, situated in the middle of a maple grove, famed for once winning New Hampshire’s Carlisle Trophy for the best maple syrup in the state.
A warehouse and shop used for storage of building supplies adjacent to the sawmill burned in 1994.  This was replaced by a wood working shop where a new endeavor producing log furniture and accessories began.  This continues to grow greatly. A New Showroom has also been added where you can view various items, such as log beds, bureaus, table and chairs, wall decorations, walking sticks and our famous Attitude Adjuster.
