The stars and stripes of the American flag just look right together - and you can translate them into a playfully patriotic look.  Mix star and stripe patterns with bold colors.  Just don’t do red, white, and blue - that’s a little too literal.  The resulting look?  So fabulous that it’ll bring on the fireworks.1. Start with a mix of solids and stripes: a bright green tie-neck blouse paired with a skinny striped pencil skirt.2. Add your stars - in the form of a fitted denim jacket adorned with an allover star print.3. If you dare to add more pattern, try a tote in a bold reverse polka dot print.4. Finish off the look with gold ballet flats and brightly colored sunglasses.  Psst - the purple in the sunglasses plays off the green beautifully.  How would you wear your stars and stripes?
