City Awarded $22 Million Grant for Water Treatment and New Submarine Waterline

AUGUST 27th, 2019 – PRINCE RUPERT, B.C. – The City and our partners at the Provincial and Federal level are happy to announce that Prince Rupert’s water project has received an additional $22 million grant award through the Investing in Canada Green Infrastructure Program.

City Launches Child Care Consultation

AUGUST 21st, 2019 – PRINCE RUPERT, B.C. – Access to affordable, quality child care is a key part of supporting both families and the local economy in the City of Prince Rupert. To address this, planning is underway to complete a Child Care Assessment and Action Plan, which will provide the community with a clear understanding of existing and future child care needs along with actions to realizing space creation targets.
