PsyRING offers a range of high quality models and tools for target identification, target validation and compound testing in preclinical and clinical settings. PsyRING is an excellent colloborative partner to initiate or expand discovery programmes. Drawing upon skills of its founding institutions, the University of Glasgow, the University of Strathclyde, and Gartnavel Royal Hospital, Glasgow, PsyRING provides access to cutting edge technologies, valuable source materials, clinical resources and novel ideas to provide support throughout the development process. News PsyRING staff review preclinical models of aspects of schizophrenia. In this critical review the PsyRING staff address the extent to which preclinical models can reproduce key features of schizophrenia.
