Raymond Coalition for Youth brings community resources and partners together to help youth reach their full potential. We work to empower youth and make our community a safer and healthier place. From community education, to our diverse community partners, programs and family fun events, the Raymond Coalition for Youth has something for everyone!

11th Annual Raymond Coalition for Youth Project Safeguard is AWESOME success!
Rick LaBell of the Raymond Police Department and LaBell Presentations opened the day for us.  With a message encouraging students to stay focused on their dreams and not let drugs and alcohol get in the way of their future and their goals.  As one student said “He was awesome!  He really inspired me.”
The day is designed to provide students with information to help them make Positive, Healthy Choices!  Research shows that risk taking and experimenting with substances such as tobacco, alcohol and marijuana often happens between seventh and eighth grade.   This conference is designed to be full of information to help teens know the dangers and possible long term effects of caving into the pressures to use any of these substances.
This year our high school and alumni Youth Action members ran two classes, Tar Wars a tobacco education and awareness class and the Dope Show – an interactive, informative game show with a focus on alcohol, marijuana and other drugs.
We also included a special forensics class offered by Detective Payne of the Raymond Police Department.  This was an excellent addition and very well received by those in attendance.
Three classes were offered for parents who attended and we would like to extend a special thank you to all of the parent who attended once again.   It is very encouraging to see parents taking time out of their busy schedules to learn
