Once there, my weight starting evening out again until I graduated and started working. There was a café called Mamma’s Baps near my office and I’d go there every day for a bacon and cheese baguette. For some reason, I didn’t think they would affect my figure, but I was very wrong! My weight causes me a severe varicose veins pain. I was also in a steady relationship with my then-boyfriend and ended up putting on a few more pounds.Mum and I have always had a great relationship, so when she blurted out, `Nicole, you look a bit hippy — you’ve put on weight,’ I wasn’t shocked. But I had to tell her the truth, so I told her that she had too!Once we’d enrolled at our local Weight Watchers meeting, there was no stopping us. I worked out the ProPoints values of everything meticulously and, aside from our Saturday treats, I didn’t cheat once.
